About The MICHELIN Guide returns to Las Vegas: the back story
The first MICHELIN Guide Southwest, revealed at Fontainebleau Las Vegas in August 2026, covers Las Vegas for the first time since 2009. Here is what it found.
The stars
Restaurant de Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand earned two stars, the only two-star restaurant in the region, and its sommelier Sean Christopher won the MICHELIN Outstanding Service Award. One star went to L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace and é by José Andrés at the Cosmopolitan.
Bib Gourmands
Three Las Vegas restaurants won a Bib Gourmand: China Poblano at the Cosmopolitan, Esther’s Kitchen in the Arts District and YEN Viet Kitchen on South Decatur Boulevard.
One two-star, three one-stars and a city full of new reasons to book.
Recommended
Among the Recommended restaurants are Wing Lei, Michael Mina, Mott 32, Bouchon, Estiatorio Milos, Cote, Gymkhana and Stubborn Seed on the Strip, and Lamaii, Partage, Sparrow + Wolf, Kabuto, Kame Omakase, Pho Ga Bac Bac, Ping Pang Pong, SoulBelly BBQ and Anima by EDO off it.
How to book
Starred restaurants book up weeks ahead, especially at weekends and during big events such as CES and the Grand Prix. Chinatown’s restaurants on Spring Mountain Road are a short taxi ride west of the Strip.
Our advice: pair a starred dinner on the Strip with a lunch in Chinatown or the Arts District to see both sides of the city’s food scene.
