About Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim)
The South Rim is where the classic Grand Canyon viewpoints are. It is about 274 miles, roughly 5½ hours without stops, from the centre of the Strip, so stay a night or fly. The North Rim is open only seasonally, with limited services; its historic lodge was destroyed by the 2025 Dragon Bravo Fire, so check the park’s North Rim status page.
